The Big Sky Waiver Program through Montana Medicaid helps elderly adults and individuals with physical disabilities receive long-term care services at home or in the community instead of a nursing facility. This program offers eligible Montanans greater independence, dignity, and connection to their communities.

To qualify, individuals must be at least 65 or meet the Social Security Administration’s disability criteria, be financially eligible for Medicaid, and require a nursing home level of care.
